Too many words

Too many words

I don't get annoyed often,
But man, sometimes I do,
It was one of those moments,

A slow juiced smoothie,
Of haphazard wisdom,
Filtered by an eager mind,

Pushed onto an unsuspecting victim,
And I was just fascinated,
How she let him talk and talk,

Eventually I jumped in,
Trying to change topics,
And again, cliche after cliche,

The answers are all within you,
Learn to trust,
When you stop looking, you find..

A barrage of good ideas,
Totally uncalled for,
Is a rather funny thing,

On another occasion,
I would have been appreciative,
But this was just too much,

At least he was right about one thing,
Everything in life can be a teacher,
Even if it's one that makes you skip class,

It is what it is, I suppose,
I didn't sign up to be the Buddha,
Approved by your wordy highness.
